I’m a photographer.
I live in Washington, DC with my four young children. I love movie nights, anything salted caramel, exploring, and bagels with the works.
I have always loved photography, starting with waiting for photos from my very own Polaroid to develop as a child, to making a Camera Obscura out of a cardboard box in middle school, to saving up for my very first SLR in high school.
Once I had children of my own I fell in love with photographing all four of their adorable faces, our adventures in Washington DC, and the details of our lives. Over time I found that the most meaningful images I made, the ones I went back to again and again, were those that captured the true essence of our family and my children’s personalities.
As a recognized photography expert, I write frequently about photography for Moms and Dads who want to get better pictures of their children, hobbyists, and professional photographers. My photos and writing about photography have been featured on numerous sites, including The Washington Post, The Huffington Post Arts + Culture, The Huffington Post Parenting, Shutterfly, Manfrotto Imagine More, The Digital Photography School, SLR Lounge, and others. Keep up with me on Facebook and my blog to catch my most recent tips and ticks.
My goal is to create timeless, captivating images that last a lifetime. Read more about my photography style and the photo session experience to learn more about me.
